It’s been a long time since I posted anything about Ty so I figured I would update everyone. Him and mom and dad were all here last week for a few days because Ty had surgery. It doesn’t seem like it’s been that long since the accident but he’s doing pretty well. They took out the hardware (pictured above) on wednesday and he went home to Wichita Falls on Thursday. I talked to mom yesterday and she told me he was using the walker already. She said he walked from the living room to bathroom and back on his own. That may not sound like much but for someone who was literally run over by a semi I think it’s pretty good progress. He still has a long road ahead of him with physical therapy and the urology stuff, but he’s doing well. I want to tell everyone thanks for all the support and kind words.
